“No one who waits for You will be disgraced; those who act treacherously without cause will be disgraced.” Psalm 25:3 HCSB

Those who treacherously deceive others, who transgress God’s law, these will be disgraced and shamed. While the wicked may temporarily seem to prosper, sin always has consequences that will ultimately bring shame upon the transgressor. In comparison, those who trust and depend on God, who steadfastly wait on Him while obeying His commands, and who confidently hope in Him, these will be protected, saved, and rewarded by having their needs graciously met by God’s protecting hand.

Lord Jesus, even in the midst of troubled times, I trust in You for protection and guidance. Help me to live, not ashamed or disgraced, in ways that honor and glorify You.
