Life, Joy, Forever
Psalm 16:11

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“You reveal the path of life to me; in Your presence is abundant joy; in Your right hand are eternal pleasures.” Psalm 16:11 HCSB

Having placed his complete confidence and trust in God, His provision and protection, David is assured of life, abundant and eternal life, full of joy and pleasures in the presence of God. God guides and directs him through His Word, showing him the path of life, how to live a holy and righteous life. It is an eternal life that is focused and centered on God, dwelling in His presence and overflowing with joy. It is a life, standing at the right hand of God, worshiping, praising, and glorifying Him.

Lord Jesus, I am basking in the joy and pleasures of Your presence, knowing that because of You and Your grace, I have life, meaningful, abundant, and eternal life.
