“You are My friends if you do what I command you.” John 15:14 HCSB

Jesus laid down His life on Calvary’s cross for His friends. To be called His friend requires one to be obedient to His commands. Jesus spoke often about the need for His disciples to obey what He says. Doing what Jesus said is the way to show that one is a friend of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, You gave Your life for me. I want to give You my life by obeying what You say in the Bible.
