“See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:10 NIV

Through His prophet Jeremiah, God’s Word speaks to all the nations and to all people both of judgment and of blessing. He would uproot the weeds and plant the good seeds. He would tear down the rotten structures and build new ones. He would destroy and overthrow evil. God declares judgment against sin, including the rebellious and flagrant disregard of His commands. God also declares His blessings of mercy and grace that includes forgiveness and restoration to all who repent and trust in Him.

Lord Jesus, I am thankful for the cleansing of Your blood and for the eternal life You provide. Help me to share with others Your mercy, grace, and love.
