Christ Lives
Galatians 2:20b
The Upward Look
by Max D. Hutto,
“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20 NASB
Jesus Christ was crucified and buried, yet on the third day He arose! He lives forevermore! Through faith and trust solely in Christ’s atoning sacrificial death, the believer has been saved and redeemed by God’s grace and has life through the resurrected Christ. This life of faith in Christ is to be lived out each day in His love. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ lives in the believer. The believer is to live for Christ.
Lord Jesus, may I live my life of faith in a way that honors and glorifies You. May Your love, Your grace, Your mercy be expressed and exemplified in my life.
