Have No Part
Ephesians 5:11

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” Ephesians 5:11 ESV

The believer is not to participate or have any part in doing dark, sinful, evil, and wicked acts. Instead of producing good fruit, these works of darkness only yield rotten, vile, putrid devastation. The children of the Light cannot walk in the light and continue to take part in the works of darkness. By living in Christ and shining forth His light, the dark deeds of evil will be exposed by the stark contrast of light versus dark, holiness versus wickedness.

Lord Jesus, I need help putting aside all the useless works of darkness in my life. Instead, help me to live in Your light, following You by obeying Your Word, the Bible, and doing what pleases and honors You.
