“Praying at the same time for us . . . that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ,. . . ; in order that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak.” Colossians 4:4 NASB

Paul asked the Colossians to pray that he and others would clearly and effectively share the gospel, the mystery of Christ. He desired that his words be understandable. They were to pray that all who would hear his voice would plainly hear the good news. The good news is that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. Jesus was buried, and on the third day He rose up from the grave to give everlasting life to all who would trust in Him.

Lord Jesus, help me and others to share the good news. I pray that the gospel might be clearly proclaimed.
