“And beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.” Colossians 3:14 NASB

Love is the greatest of all the virtues. The believer has clothed himself with the other virtues listed in the previous verses. He then puts on the overcoat of love which covers and completes all these virtues. Love is seen in action through kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and forgiveness. This self-giving and caring love binds all these virtues together, making the believer’s character complete.

Lord Jesus, You showed us perfect love by giving Yourself for us. Help me to demonstrate this true love in my life today.
