“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge.” 2 Peter 1:5 HCSB

Because God has by His grace and power called believers to participate in His divine nature, believers are to live a godly and holy life. This life of faith is exhibited by several qualities and characteristics that believers must strive with all diligence and effort to nurture and grow. Faith is a trust and deepening personal relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord. Goodness is virtue and moral excellence that is courageous and boldly stands firm for what is right. Knowledge is a growing understanding of God’s Word and His will and ways that is lived out in the life of the believer.

Lord Jesus, I desire to grow in my relationship with You. Help me to live out my faith and trust in You through my attitude and actions.
