“Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 HCSB

Many believers have said they would do God’s will if they only knew it. God has a plan and purpose for each person. God desires that all persons be “in Christ Jesus” through a real and personal relationship with Him. Jesus died on the cross so that you may have this intimate relationship of being in Christ. God desires that believers would give thanks to Him in everything. The believer must be grateful to God no matter what the circumstances. It is God’s will that we give thanks.

Lord Jesus, I am grateful for salvation and for all the blessings of life. No matter what I face today, help me to have an attitude of gratitude.
