“To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5:11 NASB

As Peter thinks about all that God in His grace does for the believers, he breaks into a doxology of praise to God. Though the believers were suffering and persecuted, they praised God who would bring them through into glory. God has dominion now and throughout eternity. He is the Sovereign Ruler and Lord who is all powerful and mighty. No matter what is happening in the world, believers must praise and glorify the Almighty God.

Lord Jesus, I am amazed at Your grace that provides my salvation and my life. I yield to Your authority to rule in my life as Sovereign Lord.
