The Upward Look

“By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.” 1 John 3:10 NASB
There are only two groups of people. You are either a child of God or a child of the devil. God’s children are those who habitually do what is right and have godly love for others. The devil’s children habitually do what is wrong and do not have true godly love for others. One’s true character and heritage is revealed not by a single action but by one’s lifestyle.
Lord Jesus, I know I am a child of God having been born again by faith in You. Help my conduct today to be righteous and loving.
