“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.” Romans 5:9 NASB

When Jesus shed His blood on Calvary’s Cross, He paid the penalty for our sins. Those who believe and trust in Jesus have been justified, meaning that we have been declared free of the guilt of our sins. God no longer sees us as guilty sinners. He sees us as righteous, not because of our deeds, but because of the blood of Jesus Christ. We are no longer judged and sentenced to suffer the wrath of God because of what Jesus did on the Cross.

Lord God, I am awestruck and amazed at Your great grace that has saved me from wrath and justified me by the blood shed on Calvary. Oh, the wonder-working power that has washed and cleansed me by the precious blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus my Savior.
