In your personal opinion, what do you understand it takes for a person to go to heaven?

Pattern for Prayer

“Father, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.”
   Luke 11:2-4 NASB ©

Using the word PRAY as an acrostic, one can outline a pattern in Luke’s version of the model prayer. Praising (verse 2) is recognizing God and His holy nature and showing awe and reverence to Him. Repenting (verse 4a) is turning our hearts and lives from worldliness to godliness. Asking (verse 3) is acknowledging that even basic necessities come from God for all people. Yielding (verse 2b and 4b) is surrendering our lives to do His kingdom work and not following our selfish desires.

Lord Jesus, I desire to become a person of prayer. Help my prayers be complete by using this pattern for prayer: Praising, Repenting, Asking, and Yielding.
