“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.” Psalm 136:1 NASB

This season of the year provides us with the opportunity to stop and give thanks to God for all His blessings, for He has indeed blessed us with our very breath and all that is needed to sustain life. We also need to recognize the goodness of God. His very character is defined by His goodness, His love, His mercy, and His grace. Take time to read this “Great Hallel” psalm of antiphonal praise with its unique refrain in each verse that reminds us that God’s lovingkindness, His steadfast mercy, His loyal covenant love is everlasting.

Lord Jesus, I express my deepest gratitude to You for the blessing of life and joy of personally experiencing Your lovingkindness.
