“O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!” Psalm 8:1 NASB

Like David who wrote this Psalm, when I look into the night sky and gaze at the vastness of the universe, I stand in amazement at how great and mighty God is. When I gaze at the splendor of the mountains and fields, the beauty of the trees and flowers, and the abundance of all living creatures, I am amazed by the Creator God. When I think that the Almighty God loved mankind in spite of our rebellion and sin, I am humbled. When I think that the Lord God would by His mercy and grace provide a forgiving and cleansing salvation, I burst out in praise to the majestic Savior and Lord.

Lord God, let Your wonderful and glorious name be praised in all the earth. May You receive the glory and honor and praise in all that I do this day.
