“The secret counsel of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He reveals His covenant to them.” Psalm 25:14 HCSB

That intimate disclosure and counsel that happens between close friends is often referred to as secrets. The closer one’s relationship, the deeper the sharing and understanding one has of the other person. That idea is the principle of this verse. Those people who fear, respect, honor, and reverence the Lord are privy to His counsel and instruction. The closer one’s relationship is to the Lord, the more He reveals His character, His ways, and His covenant promises.

Lord Jesus, draw me nearer to You. Teach me from Your Word, the Bible, more about You and Your ways that I may obediently follow in Your path.
