“The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.” Psalm 1:4 NASB

The wicked are the ungodly ones. They are not blessed by God, nor do they delight in His Word. They are not like the tree firmly planted by streams of water. The wicked are like chaff, the useless part of grain. At harvest time, the chaff is separated from the grain by throwing it in the air. The heavier grain falls to the ground. The lighter chaff is driven away by the wind. While the wicked may flourish for a season, may even enjoy their sinful ways, and seem to dominate over the righteous, the wicked will soon face harvest time.

Lord Jesus, help me to warn the wicked of their fate. Let me share with them the need for repentance and faith in You.
