“But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.” Psalm 1:2 NASB

The person who is blessed by God is one who takes joy in God’s Word. He takes pleasure in reading and studying God’s Word. He thinks about God’s Word day and night. He digs deep in study, learning what the Bible says, and then applies it to his life. Thus, the Bible is his instruction book. He patterns his life by the principles and laws found in the Bible. The Bible is the light for the path that he walks, guiding his every move. The blessed man does not seek counsel from the ungodly but from the law of the Lord.

Lord Jesus, I treasure Your Word, the Bible. I want to learn from it how to live my life to please You.
