“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He got up, went out, and made His way to a deserted place. And He was praying there.” Mark 1:35 HCSB

Jesus gives us a great example to follow. He had a habit of getting up early in the morning and spending time in prayer. He spent time in private where he could be alone and worship the Father. The example for His disciples is that we need spend time each day with God in a personal time of worship. We must spend time in prayer and Bible study.

Lord Jesus, I am grateful for the time I spend with You each day. Help me to learn from Your Word, the Bible, how to live my life this day.
