“This I command you, that you love one another.” John 15:17 NASB

Having already given this command to love one another, Jesus gives it greater emphasis by repeating it again. His followers are to love one another. In a world that is dominated by selfishness and hate, a believer is to have a love that is compassionate and concerned for the good of the other person. This love desires the best for others. It is shown by kindness and tenderness to others, by bearing with one another, by forgiving one another, and by encouraging one another to be obedient to God in all things.

Lord Jesus, help me to show this love by being kind and tender hearted to others. Help me to encourage others to follow Your commands.
