“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love.” John 15:10 NASB

Obedience is a key mark of a disciple of Jesus. To abide in His love, the disciple must live a life of obedience to His commands. Jesus expects His disciple to do what He says in His Word. The disciple cannot pick and choose which commands he wishes to obey. He must be totally obedient to all of Christ’s commands. He then will remain in the center of His love. With obedience he will be filled with God’s love.

Lord Jesus, I desire to be obedient to Your commands and to abide in Your love. Give me wisdom and strength to do what You desire for me to do today.
