Resurrection Power
Ephesians 1:20

The Upward Look
    by Max D. Hutto,

“which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 1:20 NASB

Jesus’ body lay cold and stiff in the grave. Then God, through His immeasurable power, brought Him back to life and sat Him on Heaven’s throne. The resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ demonstrated God’s amazing great power. This same incredible power is what Paul prayed the believers would see and rely on in their lives. By His tremendous power, God redeemed the believers, would transform and sanctify their lives, and would provide an eternal inheritance in glory.

Lord Jesus, I am awestruck at the magnificent power manifested in Your resurrection and ascension. As I face these tough days, help me to see and rely on Your immense power.
