“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:10 NASB

Judgment day, the day of the Lord, will absolutely come despite the unbelief of the scoffers. Without any warning, God’s judgment will suddenly happen with great destruction that will totally burn up all the earth. Having judged the evil and ungodly, God has declared their sentence of destruction. Yet God offers salvation for all who will repent and trust in Jesus who took our punishment on the cross.

Lord Jesus, I wholly place my trust in You as my Savior. To those people who are facing eternal wrath and destruction, let me proclaim Your gospel of salvation.
