“For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly supplied to you.” 2 Peter 1:11 HCSB

The believer’s journey of a diligently growing life of faith will be rewarded on his entrance into the eternal heavenly kingdom. Like a victorious warrior or winner of a race, the faithful believer will be joyously welcomed into Heaven. The believer’s faithful life of holiness and devotion to the Lord Jesus will be richly rewarded. While this life of faithful devotion brings comfort and fruitfulness in this world, the ultimate reward for the faithful servant of the Lord will be in Heaven, the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior.

Lord Jesus, as I struggle with the trials and tribulations of this world, I look forward to the reward of the eternal kingdom. Teach me how to faithfully live here so that I will be ready for the rewards of Heaven.
