“And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?” 1 Peter 3:13 NASB

Do you have a passionate desire to do what is right and good? Is doing good a driving force in your life? When you do what is right, there will be those who oppose you. Peter was writing to believers who were in the midst of being persecuted for their beliefs. Having stated that God is watching over His children, Peter reminds them that fear and threats of suffering must not keep them from doing what is right and good. No matter what harm others may do, a believer must always do what is right in God’s sight.

Lord Jesus, help me to always do what is right and honorable. Give me strength and endurance to stand for what is right in Your sight even when others in our society differ and vehemently oppose Your truth.
