“If we accept the testimony of men, God’s testimony is greater, because it is God’s testimony that He has given about His Son.” 1 John 5:9 HCSB

We tend to be a trusting people. We trust other drivers as we drive down the highway. We trust the food preparers to provide safe and nourishing food. We tend to believe what others tell us. If it is in print, or on the television, or said by someone we know and trust, we want to believe it. We believe people when they give testimony to what they saw or did. We trust and believe even though people are not always trustworthy or truthful. How much more should we trust and believe what God says when God can not lie. He tells us that Jesus is the Christ, the only Savior.

Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and the only way to the Father and to Heaven. Help me to live in a way that shows my trust in You.
