“But every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that he is coming, and he is already in the world now.” 1 John 4:3 HCSB

Every person, teacher, or prophet, who does not boldly acknowledge and openly declare Jesus as God in human flesh, this person does not know God or speak for God. The person who denies Jesus is demonstrating the characteristic of the antichrist. He is “anti” meaning opposed to, opposite of, or against Christ. This “spirit” is openly hostile toward Jesus. The enemies of Jesus were already making their views known.

Lord Jesus, in growing numbers many continue to speak against You and distort what You said and did. Help me to speak out boldly, confessing that You are my Savior and Lord.
