God’s character and deeds are right, pure, and holy. His children are those who habitually practice doing what is right in God’s sight. It does not mean that a believer does no wrong and never sins, but that he does not continue to sin when he realizes his wrong doing. The guiding principle for how a believer lives his life is the sincere desire to do what God considers as right. A righteous life is evidence of a spiritual new birth.

Lord Jesus, the desire of my heart is to do what is right. Help me to live this day in a way that pleases You.
