God is the source of the message. Man did not dream up the gospel message. Many people have thought up many ideas about God. Many world religions have originated from man’s intellect and dreams. However, the gospel comes from God Himself. God the Son revealed God the Father, and God the Spirit inspired the writers to place the gospel of Jesus Christ into a written form, the Holy Bible. John and others are simply reporting the message that came from Jesus.

Lord Jesus, what an amazing message of salvation we have been given! Help me to declare Your great love and holiness to others.
